Applying A Teen Outreach Coordinator Position

Mrs. Smith,

The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America is something that I strongly believe in. That is why I read with great interest your recent ad in the St. Mary’s Oracle for a Teen Outreach Coordinator with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Wirt County. As a native of Wirt County with a lifelong desire to work with children and excellent leadership skills, I believe I have much to offer in this capacity.

A music education major at Marietta College, I prepared for a future career of educating children. I’ve spent more than 100 hours in the classroom working with, teaching and observing students and have realized that this is where I want to focus my career: working to prepare the youth of today for tomorrow’s world. In addition, I have been actively involved in various youth activities throughout my life. It would be an honor for me to be able to contribute to the Boys & Girls Clubs’ mission of providing

  • A safe place to learn and grow
  • Ongoing relationships with caring adult professionals
  • Life-enhancing programs and character-development experiences
  • Hope and opportunity

An interview would allow me to share my qualifications in greater detail and learn more about this exciting opportunity. I will call you next week to follow up. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to speaking with you soon.
